The Vision Values Behaviors Workbook

Stop waiting for your life to change. Start building it.

A self-guided workbook for the moment you're ready to get honest about what you actually want and do something about it.

Where this started

Thirteen years into teaching, I hit a wall. Scheduled bathroom breaks. Outdated practices. A ceiling on what I could see was possible — for my students, and for me. I kept waiting for something to change instead of changing it myself.

So I opened a journal and asked myself questions I'd never let myself sit with: What do I actually want? How do I want to feel? What's true for me — not what I think I'm supposed to want.

It was terrifying. I'd built a career, an identity, a whole life around one path. Admitting I wanted something different meant admitting I might have to start over. But I kept writing. I got specific. And what started as a few honest pages in a journal became the exit ramp out of a classroom and into a business I'm proud to pour myself into every day — one where I get to impact people the way I once hoped to, without needing permission to use the bathroom.

That practice rebuilt my life and my work in ways I couldn't have planned for. I return to it every year. This workbook is that same practice, distilled into six exercises you can do on your own.

This is for you if you

  • Feel stuck and tired of waiting for life to happen

  • Want to connect with what actually matters to you — personally and professionally

  • Are ready for the next version of yourself

  • Understand that real change comes from honest work, not a quick fix

If that's you, keep reading.

What's inside

Six self-guided exercises, built to build on each other. Work through them alone, or bring a coach, therapist, partner, or team into the group prompts.

  1. True Self Inventory — Get honest about where you are right now, and where you actually want to be.

  2. Your Vision — Name what you want for your life and work, without editing yourself down.

  3. Values Through Storytelling — Find your core values in the stories only you could tell.

  4. Values Through Others — See yourself through the eyes of the people who know you.

  5. Values-Aligned Behaviors — Turn your values into behaviors you can actually see yourself doing.

  6. True Self Action Plan — Build the weekly rhythm that keeps all of it alive.

What you'll walk away with:

  • Sharper self-awareness and a clearer read on what actually matters to you

  • Better decisions, because you're working from what's true for you — not what you think you're supposed to want

  • A real action plan, not just insight that fades by Friday

Read this twice: who this is really for

This isn't a productivity hack or a personality quiz. It's the same process I use with my own executive coaching clients — packaged so you can do it on your own, at your own pace.

If you're ready to stop waiting and start building, this is for you.

One honest note

This won't do the work for you. It asks something of you. It ask for your time, honesty, and follow-through.

Clarity + Commitment + Consistency. That's what turns insight into an actual transformed life. If you're willing to bring those three, this workbook will meet you there.

From me

Thank you for giving yourself this time. What you uncover here is yours now. Use it to bring your vision and values to life.

This workbook is one of my own values-aligned behaviors in action. It sat on my list for a long time before I moved on it. I had to work through my own fear of being seen and sharing my work with a broader audience before I could put it in your hands.

If you want more support after this — coaching, workshops, or the deeper True Self course — reach out. We're here.

Sincerely,

Lauren Sikes
